# Integrations

> Connecting LightWork with your property management system.

## In one minute

LightWork integrates with property management systems (PMS) to sync property data, tenant records, and work orders. This keeps your systems aligned without manual data entry.

## Supported systems

## What syncs

When a PMS integration is active, the following data is synchronised:

### From your PMS to LightWork

* **Properties and units** - your portfolio structure is kept up to date automatically.
* **Tenant records** - current tenant details and tenancy assignments.
* **Landlord records** - property owner details.
* **Contractor records** - tradespeople linked to your account (where supported).

### From LightWork to your PMS

* **Work orders** - maintenance work orders created in LightWork are synced back to your PMS.
* **Case updates** - status changes and completion records.

## Setting up an integration

PMS integrations are set up by the LightWork team in coordination with your PMS provider. The process is:

1. **Contact your onboarding lead** - let us know which PMS you use and what data you want to sync.
2. **Credentials and access** - provide the necessary API credentials or access for your PMS.
3. **Configuration** - our team configures the integration and runs an initial data sync.
4. **Verification** - review the synced data in LightWork to confirm accuracy.
5. **Go live** - ongoing sync runs automatically.

## Manual data management

If you do not have a PMS integration (or prefer manual management), you can manage all data directly in LightWork:

* Add properties and units in the [Properties](/platform/properties) section.
* Add contacts in the [CRM](/platform/crm).
* Create and manage work orders from the Maintenance module.

## Requesting a new integration

If you use a PMS that is not currently supported, contact [support@lightwork.co](mailto:support@lightwork.co) with details of your system. We prioritise integrations based on client demand.
