## Compliance

We've launched **Compliance**, a new feature that automates the management of property compliance certificates. To get started, contact the LightWork team to have it set up for your portfolio.

Initially, Compliance handles Gas Safety certificates end-to-end: it identifies expiring certificates, coordinates with contractors and tenants to arrange visits, collects updated certificates, and keeps you informed at every step — all with your oversight.

As part of this launch, we've also shipped several improvements to the Compliance experience:

* You can now see record count badges on each compliance tab (Needs Action, In Progress, Complete), so you can assess your workload at a glance.
* You can now run batch compliance workflows correctly, with all bulk actions properly processed in the background.
* You can now upload certificates without attaching a file, giving you more flexibility when logging compliance records.
* Fixed an issue where contractor records were missing a phone number field, keeping contact details consistent across the platform.
* Fixed an issue where the compliance search box was too narrow, cutting off the text you typed.
* Fixed an issue where the certificate upload form showed incorrect fields and options.

* Improved the renewal tab grouping and added further validations to reduce errors when managing renewals.
